Translation · EN

"They will say: To Allah."

Muhammad said: The reciters also differed regarding His saying: "They will say: To Allah," and it is the same in interpretation as the one before it. "How then are you deluded [fa-anna tus-harun]?" meaning: How is it that your intellects are bewitched? He thus likened them to a people who have been bewitched.

Muhammad said: It was also said: The meaning is: How are you deceived and turned away from this?!

Surat al-Mu'minun, from verse 90 to 98.

﴿سيقولون لله﴾.

قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَاخْتَلَفَ الْقُرَّاءُ أَيْضًا فِي قَوْله: ﴿سيقولون لله﴾ وَهِيَ فِي التَّأْوِيلِ مِثْلُ الَّتِي قبلهَا. ﴿فَأنى تسحرون﴾ أَيْ: فَكَيْفَ تَسْحِرُونَ عُقُولَكُمْ؟ فَشَبَّهَهُمْ بِقَوْمٍ مَسْحُورِينَ.

قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَقِيلَ: الْمَعْنَى: كَيْفَ تُخْدَعُونَ وَتُصْرَفُونَ عَنْ هَذَا؟!

سُورَة الْمُؤْمِنُونَ من (آيَة ٩٠ ٩٨).
