"O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan," meaning the command of Satan. "And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan, then indeed he"—meaning Satan—"enjoins immorality and wrongdoing."

﴿يَا أَيهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَان﴾ أَمْرَ الشَّيْطَانِ ﴿وَمَنْ يَتَّبِعْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَان فَإِنَّهُ﴾ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ ﴿يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ﴾.
