{The evil women are for the evil men, and the evil men are for the evil women} [Qatadah's interpretation: The evil (statements and deeds) are for the evil (people), and the evil (people) are for the evil (statements and deeds)]. {And the good women are for the good men, and the good men are for the good women} is similar to that; and this is regarding the story of Aisha. {Those are innocent of what they say. For them is forgiveness} for their sins, {and a noble provision} Paradise.
Surat An-Nur (Verse 27).
﴿الخبيثات للخبيثين والخبيثون للخبيثات﴾ [تَفْسِيرُ قَتَادَةَ: الْخَبِيثَاتُ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَالْعَمَلِ لِلْخَبِيثِينَ مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَالْخَبِيثُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ لِلْخَبِيثَاتِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَالْعَمَلِ] ﴿وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ وَالطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِ﴾ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ؛ وَهَذَا فِي قِصَّةِ عَائِشَةَ ﴿أُولَئِكَ مُبَرَّءُونَ مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَهُم مغْفرَة﴾ لذنوبهم ﴿وزرق كريم﴾ الْجنَّة.
