[Allah alternates the night and the day] as in His saying: [He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night], which is the taking of each one of them from the other.
﴿يقلب الله اللَّيْل وَالنَّهَار﴾ كَقَوْلِهِ: ﴿يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ ويولج النَّهَار فِي اللَّيْل﴾ هُوَ أَخْذُ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا من صَاحبه.
