[And if the right is theirs] the verse. In the interpretation of al-Hasan, he said: A man would have a right against another during the time of the Prophet; if the latter said to him: 'Come with me to the Prophet,' he would go with him if he knew the right was his. But if he knew he was seeking something invalid, he would refuse to come to the Prophet, peace be upon him. So Allah revealed: [And when they are invited to Allah] up to His saying: [obedient], meaning: swift.
