Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 3 · Page 8572

Translation · EN

"And whoever is blind in this [world]" – the interpretation of Qatadah: He says, whoever is blind in this world to what he witnesses therein of the blessings of Allah, His creation, and His wonders, such that he does not realize he has a place of return, he is even more blind to the matters of the Hereafter that are hidden from him. "And more astray in way" means: more astray in path.

Muhammad said: This refers to the blindness of the heart; meaning: he is more intensely blind and more astray in path in the Hereafter because he will find no path to guidance.
