"[Do not call out this day for one destruction, but call out for much destruction] (Al-Furqan: 14)."
Muhammad said: (Thuburan) is used for both a little and a lot in the form of the singular, because it is a verbal noun (masdar).
﴿لَا تَدْعُوا الْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَاحِدًا وَادعوا ثبورا كثيرا﴾.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: (ثبورا) لِلْقَلِيلِ وَالْكَثِيرِ عَلَى لَفْظِ الْوَاحِدِ؛ لِأَنَّهُ مصدر.
