"He indeed led me astray from the Reminder," meaning: the Quran, "after it had come to me." God said: "And Satan is ever, to man, a deserter," commanding him to disobey God, then abandoning him in the Hereafter.
﴿لقد أضلني عَن الذّكر﴾ يَعْنِي: الْقُرْآنَ ﴿بَعْدَ إِذْ جَاءَنِي﴾ قَالَ اللَّهُ: ﴿وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِلإِنْسَانِ خذولا﴾ يَأْمُرُهُ بِمَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ، ثُمَّ يَخْذُلُهُ فِي الْآخِرَة
