[This is] the practice of those We have sent before you from Our messengers, that whenever they killed their prophet, Allah destroyed them with punishment.
﴿سُنَّةَ مَنْ قَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ من رسلنَا﴾ أَنَّهُمْ إِذَا قَتَلُوا نَبِيَّهُمْ، أَهْلَكَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِالْعَذَابِ.
