"And from the night, perform tahajjud (night prayer) with it as an extra devotion for you," meaning: a gift from Allah to you.
Muhammad said: It is said: A man has performed tahajjud if he stays awake at night, and he has hajada if he sleeps. "It is expected that your Lord will raise you to a praised station." And what is "expected" (asa) from Allah is binding (wajib), and the praised station is the intercession (shafa'a).
