"They said, 'There is no harm; indeed, we are to our Lord returning.'"
Muhammad said: "'There is no harm' (la dayra) is derived from the verb dara, yaduruhu, wa yudiruhu, meaning: he harmed him. That is: There is no harm upon us in what befalls us in this world."
﴿قَالُوا لَا ضَيْرَ إِنَّا إِلَى رَبنَا منقلبون﴾.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: ﴿لَا ضير﴾ وَهْوَ مِنْ: ضَارَهُ يَضُورُهُ وَيُضِيرُهُ؛ بِمَعْنَى: ضَرَّهُ؛ أَيْ: لَا ضَرَرَ عَلَيْنَا فِيمَا يَنَالُنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا.
