Translation · EN

"And indeed, they are to us a cause of rage, and indeed, we are all a vigilant assembly"—and it is read: "haathirun" (well-prepared).

Muhammad said: The "haathir" (well-prepared), according to the linguists, is the one who is prepared, while the "hadhir" (vigilant) is the one who is alert.

﴿وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَائِظُونَ وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حذرون﴾ وتقرأ: ﴿حاذرون﴾.

قَالَ مُحَمَّد: والحاذر عِنْدَ أَهْلِ اللُّغَةِ: الْمُسْتَعِدُّ، وَالْحَذِرُ: المتيقظ.
