"[Has there reached you]"—meaning: It has already reached you—"[the story of the honored guests of Abraham]"—honored in the sight of Allah in rank and closeness; meaning: the angels who descended to him, gave him glad tidings of Isaac, and came with the punishment for the people of Lot.
﴿هَل أَتَاك﴾ أَي: قد أَتَاك ﴿حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيم الْمُكرمين﴾ عِنْد اللَّه بالمنزلة والقربة؛ يَعْنِي: الْمَلَائِكَة الَّذين نزلُوا بِهِ فبشروه بِإسْحَاق، وَجَاءُوا بِعَذَاب قوم لوط
