"But he felt from them fear. They said, 'Do not fear,' and gave him good tidings of a learned boy"—meaning Isaac.
Muhammad said: The meaning of "awjasa" (he felt) is: he concealed within himself.
﴿فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُوا لَا تخف وبشروه بِغُلَام عليم﴾ إِسْحَاق.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: (أوجس) مَعْنَاهُ: أضمر.
