"And the people of Nuh" [51:46], the verse.
Muhammad said: Whoever reads "the people of Nuh" (qawma Nuhin) in the accusative case (nasb), it is based on the meaning: We seized him and his soldiers, and We seized the people of Nuh.
﴿وَقوم نوح﴾ الْآيَة.
قَالَ محمدٌ: من قَرَأَ ﴿قوم نوح﴾ بِالنّصب فعلى معنى: فأخذناه وَجُنُوده، وأخذنا قوم نوح.
