Translation · EN

"And the frequented House," Ibn Abbas's interpretation: He said: The frequented House is a house in the heaven corresponding to the Kaaba; seventy thousand angels perform pilgrimage to it every day, never returning to it again.

Qatada said: Allah (may He be exalted) said to Adam: "Descend with my House, around which circumambulation is performed just as it is around My Throne." So Adam performed pilgrimage to it, as did the believers after him. When the time of the Flood came, Allah raised it and purified it from being struck by the punishment of the people of the earth.
