He said: {Or do they have a god other than Allah?} meaning (fol. 342) {a poet [for whom] we await [a misfortune of time]} up to this point is all in the form of interrogation and [a demonstration of] their lying about it.
Tafsir of Surat al-Tur from verse 44 to verse 49.
قَالَ ﴿أَمْ لَهُمْ إِلَهٌ غَيْرُ الله﴾ أَي (ل ٣٤٢) ﴿شَاعِر نتربص بِهِ﴾ إِلَى هَذَا الْموضع كالاستفهام وكذبهم بِهِ كُله.
