Allah said: {So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck unconscious}, meaning: they will die, and this is the first blast of the Horn; according to the interpretation of al-Hasan, it means: the disbelievers of the end of this nation whose destruction will occur with the establishment of the Hour.
قَالَ اللَّه: ﴿فَذَرْهُمْ حَتَّى يُلاقُوا يومهم الَّذِي فِيهِ يصعقون﴾ أَي: يموتون، وَهِي النفخة الأولى؛ فِي تَفْسِير الْحسن، يَعْنِي: كفار آخر هَذِه الْأمة الَّذين يكون هلاكهم بِقِيَام السَّاعَة.
