"The sight did not swerve"—the sight of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—so he did not affirm what he did not see. "Nor did it transgress": he did not say what he did not see.
﴿مَا زاغ الْبَصَر﴾ بصر النَّبِي ﷺ فَلم يُثْبت مَا رأى، ﴿وَمَا طَغى﴾: مَا قَالَ مَا لم يَرَ.
