﴿والمؤتفكة أَهْوى﴾ يَعْنِي قرى قوم لوط رَفعهَا جِبْرِيل بجناحه، حَتَّى سمع أهْل سَمَاء الدُّنْيَا ضواغي كلابهم ثمَّ قَلبهَا، والمؤتفكة: المنقلبة.
قَالَ محمدٌ: أَهْوى: أسْقط. يُقَال: هوى وأهواه الله: أسْقطه.
