Then He said to the people: [This is a warner] meaning: Muhammad [among the former warners] that is: he has come with that which the former messengers came with.
ثمَّ قَالَ للنَّاس: ﴿هَذَا نَذِيرٌ﴾ يَعْنِي: مُحَمَّدًا ﴿مِنَ النُّذُرِ الأُولَى﴾ أَي: جَاءَ بِمَا جَاءَت بِهِ الرُّسُل الأولى
