Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 4 · Page 127566

Translation · EN

"In them are two gushing springs" means: two overflowing springs.

Muhammad said: It is said that 'idhammat' (to become dark green) is used in the sense of 'idhimiman' (a state of deep verdancy). The act of 'nadkh' (gushing) is derived from the verb 'nadakha' (he gushed), which can be conjugated as 'yandhakhu' or 'yandhikhu'. 'Nad-ha' (sprinkling) is with an unpointed 'ha', and 'nadkh' in the language is more frequent than 'nad-h'.
