[They are] "reclining on green Rafraf" (cushions or coverings). Qatada said: Meaning: the coverings. [And on] "'Abqari" (fine carpets/cushions) "Hissan" (beautiful). Ibn Abbas said: Meaning: the pillows.
Yahya said: The singular is 'Abqarah.
﴿متكئين على رَفْرَف خضر﴾ قَالَ قَتَادَة: يَعْنِي: المحابس ﴿وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حسان﴾ قَالَ ابْن عَبَّاس: يَعْنِي: الوسائد.
