"Indeed, they were, before that, indulging in luxury." And the mutrafun (those indulging in luxury) are those of wealth and ease in the worldly life.
﴿إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مُتْرَفِينَ﴾ والمترفون أهل السَّعَة وَالنعْمَة فِي الدُّنْيَا
