"They said, 'Construct for him a structure'"—some of them saying to others—"'and cast him into the blazing fire,'" meaning: into the fire. So they gathered wood for a long time, then they brought Abraham and cast him into that fire.
﴿قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بنيانا﴾ يَقُوله بعضُهم لبَعض ﴿فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيم﴾ أَي: فِي النَّار؛ فَجمعُوا الْحَطب زَمَانًا، ثُمَّ جَاءُوا بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ، فَأَلْقَوْهُ فِي تِلْكَ النَّار
