Translation · EN

"And you make your provision that you deny it," meaning: you replace the provision with denial.

Muhammad said: It has been reported from Ibn Abbas that he used to recite: "And you make your gratitude that you deny it." It is also said that in the dialect of Azd Shanu'ah, when it is said 'razaqa fulan' (so-and-so has been provided), it means 'shakara fulan' (so-and-so has given thanks).

Tafsir of Surat al-Waqi'ah from verse 83 to verse 96.
