"He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night," which is the taking of each of them from the other, "and He is Knowing of that within the breasts," meaning: of what is within the breasts.
﴿يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَار فِي اللَّيْل﴾ وَهُوَ أَخذ كل وَاحِد مِنْهُمَا من صَاحبه ﴿وَهُوَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُور﴾ بِمَا فِي الصُّدُور.
