"And why is it that you do not believe in Allah, while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord, and He has already taken your covenant" in the loins of Adam, "if you are believers" in Allah and the Messenger; for you are believers by virtue of that covenant.
﴿وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ أَخذ ميثاقكم﴾ فِي صلب آدم ﴿إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤمنين﴾ بِاللَّه وَالرَّسُول؛ فَأنْتم مُؤمنُونَ بذلك الْمِيثَاق
