Translation · EN

"Race," meaning: through deeds, "toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heaven and the earth," meaning: all of the heavens and all of the earth laid out, each one alongside the other; this is its width, and no one can describe its length.

﴿سابقوا﴾ أَي: بِالْأَعْمَالِ ﴿إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْض﴾ يَعْنِي: جَمِيع السَّمَاوَات وَجَمِيع الأَرْض مبسوطات، كل وَاحِدَة إِلَى صاحبتها، هَذَا عرضهَا، وَلَا يصف أحدٌ طولهَا
