Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 4 · Page 144421

Translation · EN

{If We had sent down this Quran upon a mountain}, in the manner that We sent it down upon the servants, regarding reward, punishment, command, and prohibition, {you would have seen it humbled}, meaning: fearful, {splitting from fear of Allah}. By this, He rebukes the servants. {And these examples}, meaning: the comparisons, {We present to the people}, meaning: We set them forth for them, {that they might reflect}, so that they may reflect and know that they are more worthy of fearing Allah than this mountain, for they fear the punishment, while there is no punishment for the mountain.

Tafsir of Surat al-Hashr from verse 22 to verse 24.
