{He is Allah, the Creator, the Producer, the Fashioner.} The Producer (al-Bari') is the Fashioner (al-Musawwir) who fashions in the wombs and elsewhere whatever He wills. {To Him belong the best names.}
Yahya: From Khidash, from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Allah has ninety-nine names—one hundred minus one; whoever enumerates them (ahsa-ha) will enter Paradise."
Muhammad said: Some people have said: the meaning of "enumerates them" is: memorizes them. Others have said: The meaning is: whoever worships Allah by them.
{Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him, and He is the Exalted (al-'Aziz)} in His retribution, {the Wise (al-Hakim)} in His command.
﴿هُوَ اللَّهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ﴾ والبارئ هُوَ المصور الَّذِي يصور فِي الْأَرْحَام وَغَيرهَا مَا يَشَاء ﴿لَهُ الْأَسْمَاء الْحسنى﴾.
يحيى: عَنْ خِدَاشٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ: " لِلَّهِ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ اسْمًا مِائَةٌ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، مَنْ أَحْصَاهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ".
قَالَ محمدٌ: من النَّاس من قَالَ: معنى أحصاها: حفظهَا، وَمِنْهُم من قَالَ: الْمَعْنى: من تعبَّد لله بهَا.
﴿يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَالْأَرْض وَهُوَ الْعَزِيز﴾ فِي نقمته ﴿الْحَكِيم﴾ فِي أمره.
