"Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth glorifies Allah, the Sovereign, the Pure" (al-Quddus). Al-Kalbi’s interpretation: al-Quddus means the Pure.
﴿يسبح لله مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ﴾ تَفْسِير الْكَلْبِيّ: القدوس: الطَّاهِر.
