His saying: "When the hypocrites come to you" until His saying: "Indeed, the hypocrites are liars," meaning: They say it only with their mouths, while their hearts are not upon faith.
قَوْله: ﴿إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ﴾ إِلَى قَوْله: ﴿إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ﴾ أَي: إِنَّمَا يَقُولُونَهُ بأفواههم، وَقُلُوبهمْ لَيست على الْإِيمَان.
