2- "It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them," to the end of the verse. He informed that they would die in a state of hypocrisy; thus, the Messenger of Allah did not deem it permissible to ask for forgiveness for them after that.

٢ - ! (سَوَاء عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ﴾ الْآيَة. أخبر أَنهم يموتون على النِّفَاق، فَلم يستحلّ رسُولُ اللَّه أَن يسْتَغْفر لَهُم بعد ذَلِك.
