(If you loan Allah a goodly loan.) Al-Hasan's interpretation is: This refers to all voluntary acts of worship. (He will multiply it for you and forgive you; and Allah is Appreciative, Forbearing.) He appreciates the small deed from the servant and rewards him for it with a great reward.
﴿إِنْ تُقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حسنا﴾ تَفْسِير الْحسن: إِن هَذَا فِي التطوُّع من الْأَعْمَال كلهَا ﴿يُضَاعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيم﴾ يشْكر للْعَبد الْعَمَل الْيَسِير يثيبه عَلَيْهِ الثَّوَاب الْعَظِيم
