Translation · EN

"Lodge them where you dwell, according to your means [min wujdikum]" meaning: from your wealth. This means: she has the right to housing until her waiting period [‘iddah] concludes.

Muhammad said: It is said, 'wajadtu' [I found] in terms of wealth: 'wajdan,' 'wujdan,' and 'jidatan'; and 'wajadtu' [I found] in terms of a lost item: 'wijdana.'

﴿أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُم مِّن وُجْدِكُمْ﴾ من سعتكم، يَعْنِي: أَن لَهَا الْمسكن حَتَّى تَنْقَضِي الْعدة.

قَالَ محمدٌ: يُقَال: وَجَدْتُ فِي المَال وَجدًا ووُجْدًا وجِدَةً، وَوَجَدْت الضَّالة وجدانا.
