"And mention Isma'il, al-Yasa', and Dhu al-Kifl." Mujahid said: Dhu al-Kifl was a righteous man and not a prophet; he guaranteed to a prophet that he would take charge of his people's affairs and judge between them with justice.

﴿وَاذْكُرْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ﴾ قَالَ مُجَاهِد: إِن ذَا الكفل كَانَ رجلا صَالحا وَلَيْسَ بِنَبِي تكفّل لنَبِيّ بِأَن يكفل لَهُ أَمر قومه , وَيَقْضِي بَينهم بِالْعَدْلِ.
