[Iblis] said, "My Lord, then reprieve me," meaning: delay me, "until the Day they are resurrected." [Allah] said, "Then indeed, you are of those reprieved."
﴿قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي﴾ أَي: أخرْني ﴿إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ﴾.
