Say, "I do not ask you for it"—meaning the Quran— "as a payment, and I am not of the pretenders."
﴿قل مَا أَسأَلكُم عَلَيْهِ﴾ عَلَى الْقُرْآن ﴿مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَمَا أَنا من المتكلفين﴾
