[Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe in the life of this world]—meaning: victory and triumph over their enemy. [And on the Day when the witnesses will stand]—meaning: the Day of Resurrection. And the witnesses are the guardian angels who will testify for the prophets regarding the delivery of the message, and against their people regarding their denial.
﴿إِنَّا لَنَنْصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاة الدُّنْيَا﴾ يَعْنِي: النَّصْر وَالظفر عَلَى عدوِّهم ﴿وَيَوْم يقوم الأشهاد﴾ يَعْنِي: يَوْم الْقِيَامَة , والأشهاد: الْمَلَائِكَة الحَفَظَةُ يشْهدُونَ للأنبياء بالبلاغ , وَعَلَيْهِم بالتكذيب
