God said to the Prophet: "Say, 'I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed'"; except that it is revealed to me "that your god is One God, so take a straight course to Him"; that is: so unify Him; "and seek His forgiveness" for polytheism; "and woe to those who associate others with Allah" in the Fire.
قَالَ الله للنَّبِي: ﴿قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَى إِلَيَّ﴾ غير أَنَّهُ يُوحى إليَّ ﴿أَنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا إِلَيْهِ﴾ أَي: فوحدوه ﴿وَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ﴾ من الشّرك ﴿وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُشْرِكِينَ﴾ فِي النَّار.
