God said: "As for 'Aad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and said: Who is mightier than us in strength?" They marveled at their own strength. God said: "Do they not see that God, Who created them, is mightier than them in strength?"
قَالَ الله: (ل ٣٠٧) ﴿فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ منا قُوَّة﴾ عجبوا من شدتهم، قَالَ اللَّه ﴿أَو لم يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً﴾.
