Translation · EN

"So We sent upon them a Sarsar (violent) wind," meaning: intensely cold; it is the Al-Dabur (westerly wind).

Muhammad said: The Sarsar is the intensely cold wind that has a sound, and it is also the Sarrah.

﴿فَأَرْسَلنَا عَلَيْهِم ريحًا صَرْصَرًا﴾ يَعْنِي: شَدِيدَة الْبرد؛ وَهِي الدبور.

قَالَ مُحَمَّد: الصرصر: الشَّدِيدَة الْبرد الَّتِي لَهَا صوتٌ , وَهِي الصَّرَّة أَيْضا.
