Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 4 · Page 52543

Translation · EN

"Nothing is said to you except what was said to the messengers before you." This means: what their people said to them of harm; they used to say to the Messenger: "You are a madman," "You are a sorcerer," and "You are a liar." "Indeed, your Lord is full of forgiveness" for those who believe, "and is full of retribution" for those who do not believe.
