"Thus does He inspire you," meaning: In this way does He inspire you, "and to those before you" among the prophets, "Allah, the Exalted in Might" in His retribution, "the Wise" in His command.
﴿كَذَلِك يوحي إِلَيْك﴾ أَي: هَكَذَا يوحي إِلَيْك ﴿وَإِلَى الَّذين من قبلك﴾ من الْأَنْبِيَاء ﴿الله الْعَزِيز﴾ فِي نقمته ﴿الْحَكِيم﴾ فِي أمره
