Volume 4 · Page 57935

Translation · EN

"And that those who dispute Our signs may know" - meaning: those who deny them - "that they have no place of escape" - meaning: no refuge to which they may flee from the punishment of Allah.

Muhammad said: It is said: 'hasa an al-shay'' (he fled from the thing); meaning: he turned away from it. It is recited: 'wa-ya'lamu' (And He shall know) with a damma on the mim, and it is also recited with a fatha (as an accusative). The recitation of Nafi' is with the damma.
