Translation · EN

"So whatever thing you have been given" - meaning: the polytheists - "is but a fleeting enjoyment of the worldly life" - which will vanish and pass away - "but that which is with Allah is better and more lasting" - meaning: Paradise.

﴿فَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ﴾ يَعْنِي: الْمُشْركين ﴿فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا﴾ ينْفد وَيذْهب ﴿وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خير وَأبقى﴾ يَعْنِي: الْجنَّة.
