"But whoever is patient and forgives, indeed that is of the matters [worthy] of resolution." All of this is abrogated regarding [the state of affairs] between them and the polytheists; it was abrogated by the command to fight.
﴿وَلَمَنْ صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لمن عزم الْأُمُور﴾ وَهَذَا كُله منسوخٌ فِيمَا بَينهم وَبَين الْمُشْركين نسخه الْقِتَال.
