Translation · EN

"And ornaments of gold." Al-Zukhruf means gold. "And all of that is nothing but the enjoyment of the life of this world," which is enjoyed and then passes away. "And the Hereafter," meaning Paradise, "is with your Lord for the righteous."

Muhammad said: The singular of "Ma'arij" (stairways/ascents) is "Ma'raj". It is said: "Dhaharta 'ala al-bayt" (I climbed onto the house) if you ascend its roof.

﴿وَزُخْرُفًا﴾ والزخرف: الذَّهَب ﴿وَإِنْ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لما مَتَاع الْحَيَاة الدُّنْيَا﴾ يُسْتَمتع بِهِ ثمَّ يذهب ﴿وَالآخِرَةُ﴾ يَعْنِي: الْجنَّة ﴿عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ﴾.

قَالَ محمدٌ: واحدُ المعارج: مَعْرَجٌ، وَيُقَال: ظَهرت على الْبَيْت إِذا عَلَوْت سطحه.
