"And Pharaoh called out among his people," when Moses came to him calling him to God, "saying, 'O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me?'"—meaning, in my dominion—"Do you not then see?"
﴿ونادى فِرْعَوْن فِي قومه﴾ حِين جَاءَهُ مُوسَى يَدعُوهُ إِلَى الله ﴿قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَذِهِ الأَنْهَارُ تجْرِي من تحتي﴾ أَي: فِي ملكي ﴿أَفَلا تُبْصِرُونَ﴾
